As long as I can remember, I have wanted to work with and help people. In my early teens I worked in a family owned store in Farmville, VA. I graduated from Westhampton College, with Honors, in Sociology and went on to get my Masters of Social Work at VCU. Then I realized that I missed being in sales. I was selected as a Management Trainee for Woodward and Lothrop in Washington, D.C. and soon became a buyer/manager. I was happy in my job and in the area. However, “life happens” and I returned to Richmond to manage five stores with La Vogue, a lovely high end ladies’ store, and then went on to own and manage a very successful bridal shop, The Esther May Shoppe in Farmville, VA where I stayed for twenty-two years. During this time, I served two years as Chairman of the Board of the Virginia Retail Merchants Association, which is a volunteer position and an honor to be chosen. Meanwhile, my parents, who are both real estate brokers, convinced me that I should combine my strengths- in sales, management, and a strong desire to make a difference in peoples’ lives- and go into real estate. And again my parents were right. I love real estate where I am able to utilize all of my talents and experience to make their moving experience a very pleasant one. My home is in Henrico County- West End where I live with my husband and daughter. I am an avid animal rescue supporter. It
would be my pleasure and I would welcome the opportunity
to work with you.
